So You Want to Be an American? Board Game

This is a board game taking students through the U.S. immigration system originally created for 8th-grade U.S. History classes. The purpose of the game was to build a much deeper understanding of this system than birthright American citizens would ever otherwise have of this process, and to build empathy for those who go through it. It was created in consultation with people who had navigated the system, and who were a mix of citizens, green card holders, and people who now live in other countries.
